Recently a banjo friend offered a very large number of BMG magazines to help fill the gaps in the John Field LIBRARY.  After a LOT of work scanning I can now announce that all the following PDFs are available for FREE download.

Also they have all been processed using Adobe Acrobat Pro to produce clean OCR versions of the files, so when you download the PDF you can use your browser or Adobe Reader to find any text that you are interested in.

Thank you to all concerned in helping the BMG LIBRARY expand and I know that it is being used by not only the B but the M and G players and researchers around the world.

Absolutely amazing!

I feel sorry for banjo historians (or enthusiasts) of years ago.  The accessibility to information today is unbelievable.  It is efforts like yours Ian that secures this crumbling paper for future generations.

Ian, you are a real trooper!  Thank you from all of us!

I heartily  agree with Joel and Tony. What you have done. Ian, is so valuable. The actual doing is repetitive and boring and in its own way more tiring than manual labor but I hope you will not find this task thankless. THANK YOU!!

A magnificent effort, well done. I've had a framed photo of Mrs. Freda Ward of Bath who was awarded her 'A'' grade Diploma on the 25th November but the year wasn't given, Miraculously, your lates addition of the Devcmeber 1910 B.M.G. has solved this puzzle for me. Freda is pictured holding a C.E. 'Concert Grand' so she must have had a few quid in 1910.

Just amazing!!!

Beautiful work, Ian !!

Dedication above and beyond Ian - well done!

Fantastic work Ian

Yet another stunning contribution to the CB community! Ian, you are a force !!

Brilliant Ian, Well done. Best regards. Frank

That's brilliant, thanks for all your hard work in scanning the magazines in. A Herculean effort!
