Here's a great rag from the pen of Thos. S. Allen. I just got the TAB done and then found a mandolin orchestra playing it on youtube. Cool!

thats a great rag Marc.I think i will have a go at it on mandolin and banjo.regards Alan.

Thank you Marc for doing all the work. I know what a long time it takes to enter all the dots!

It is a great rag as Alan says.

I have added it to the MUSIC LIBRARY and it  is now available to download. I turned the midi into a piano voice, as I don't like those electronic tones.. but that is probably just me :-)

Yes, the piano voice is loads better than the plinky-dink crap that comes with TablEdit as the "Banjo" voice.

Actually, Ian, I took one look at this one and as it has no dotted notes, I knew I could key it in very quickly. Took about an hour...but sorting out all the fingering, dynamic markings and repeats took a good bit longer.

It is as dreary, rainy, chilly day today and a gov't holiday here (Columbus Day). I've been wanting to do "Dustman's Picnic" for ages...that one will take another age to key in!

Well...I stuck with Thos. S. Allen for the morning. Here's basic TAB and MIDI for "Big Ben" (basic, meaning I haven't added the dynamic markings). I set the MIDI to "piano" but I think yours sound better still.

Odd tune this. It is supposed to be a descriptive "London" scene...but it starts with an American bugle call ("Reveille", used to wake the troops in the morning) and ends with an American gospel tune "Hear dem Bells." Mr. Allen evidently liked chromatic runs...
