Hi Folks,

SSS published an arrangement of this in The American Banjo School part 2.  It is a short piece with no variations.

In his catalog he advertises #571 at $0.35 for the banjo part.  That is pricey when the book only cost $1.

Does anyone have a copy of this?  I'm curious if it is the same as in the ABS.

It is also late for SSS and I'd like to see the copyright year.  He might have had his stroke by then.

I don't think I have a copy of part 2...and god knows where my part 1 is. ;-)

All this nasty weather we're having, I should be cleaning out the music room instead of watching stupid football games. Ah well, the bowls will be over in a few days.

Thanks Ian and Marc.  It should be pointed out that this is "A" notation.

Still curious if the later published version is the same just in Sheet Music Format (perhaps better edited).

I think Greenup did version also-- if Turner or Ellis had a hand in it, it could be the same as the later SSS.

Here's the Ellis "Dance of the Witches". I tabbed it out back in Halloween of 2009.

Cool!  I'll give it a read through.  I should do a "insert creepy name- dance" recording.

Here is Converse's "Devil's Dance."

Here is the add from the SSS catalog.
