This tune was first recorded as a song by Arthur Collins in 1909 (MP3 attached). I've arranged it from an instrumental version, originally in Eb, it lent itself perfectly to be transposed to G. I've simplified it by stripping out most of the chords resulting in a very tuneful and catchy banjo solo, most of which is played on single notes and which is not too much of a challenge. It's one of my current favourites and is well worth a listen and play. The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

This tune is a great jazz standard. I prefer the band versions over the Arthur Collins...like this one:

Hi Marc, I'm sure that your tune was written by Fred Rose and Charles Harrison although when given the full Dixieland treatment, it's not that easy to pick out the melody..Steve.
