New York city banjo, guitar, and mandolin teachers.  Did quite a bit of arranging.  I do not know their relationship to each other.

You might find profiles with photos in the Cadenza or Crescendo magazines here...

Cool copy of Temptation, I can't wait to try it out and compare it to the English version.

Thanks Joel, As you say it's a cool arrangement, so I thought they knew what they were doing. I'll look and see what else I've got but I think that the other things might be in 'A' notation.

A notation is fine with me-- I can read both.

If it is rare or has special interest I can transpose it with a graphics editor and put it in the 5 stringer. That way it retains the original typeset and font.

Looks like these are in this Whitney Warner folio...

That's the one, it's amazing what is available these days.

... thanks to the efforts of Marc Smith (for the collection) and myself (for scanning and posting).

Ian has done a HUGE service with this platform.  I am still blown away by the BMG collection.

I'm going to dig into that Temptation this evening. I notice he transposed it for this arrangement.

That folio is available for download in both our   TUTORBOOKS and JOURNALS & SONG ALBUMS pages

Just another monumental task that probably ought to be done...making every document searchable without having to download or whatever (like the Music Library). The tutors and songbooks require individual download before they can be properly searched. I'm just as likely to post a tune that is already in the archives for that reason...no good way to search the archives for a given tune.

And no, I ain't volunteering! ;-)

I have a number of these Whitney Warner/Remick folios...and IIRC, I sent them to Hal Allert for his website (years ago). I think they're still in the shipping box from when Hal sent them back...
