Present and accounted for.  So 20%

Well, I just practiced six discrete "classic banjo" pieces — but if a classic banjoist fails in the forest of his own finger-stylings and there's no one around to hear it, does that still count as 16.667% (rounding up)?

It does, Chris, it does.

Count me in.

I always consider myself as a novice when it comes to getting a Classic Style tune out of a banjo, but I assume that even novices count.   +1

..... BUT what has always puzzled me, since I started running this website, is that if people are prepared to jump through the numerous hoops that I have put in place to prevent scammers, spambots, vagabonds and halfwits becoming members.... "Where are they all" ????

Perhaps they are planning on selling tenor and plectrum banjos?

Expecting classical banjo?

Thought this was "Classic Bluegrass?" (a recent term).

Looking for old time roots?

Interested in ragtime history?

Thought it might be fun, then saw a Joe Morely score and said--"to heck with this?"

Sent here by me after they ask "can you use notation for the banjo" on the banjo hangout?... after being told that it is worthless because notes fall in multiple positions (the go to argument for some reason) and that you should buy a piano theory book or attend college courses.

Fans of Rob Mackillop?

Guitarists confused by the term "guitar style?"

Trolls that have been banned from the Minstrel Banjo Ning site?

... or looking for a prime supplier of hand cut bridges or thimbles?

Hopefully just thimbles.  Bridges require too much follow up.

I showed up here because it was the only place in the entire interweb where anybody had ever heard of Ted Shawnee. But then, I've been hanging around a bit too. Classic banjo is quite the adventure.
