I like the Merrie England march composed by A.H. Nassau-Kennedy very much.

It can be found in  Turner Banjo Monthly 129 downloadable from Hal Allerts site http://www.classicbanjo.com

I've included an computer mp3 rendition of it and a barebones score and tab.

But now the request:

Has anybody here got any more compositions by A.H. Nassau-Kennedy  (besides the ones in the sheet music library). If so could you send them to me. As long as the notes are readable I'm happy.

Here's one.

Thank you very much Jody.

I was actually sorting thru some of my sheet music collection this weekend. I have several A.H.N-K titles...I'll have to make sure they're not duplicates of what is here though.

Trapdoor these are the titles I have so far with some help from Jody and Ian:

Belle of Erin
Bolero
Bonnie Scotland
Breakdown Medley Selection
Colorado Buck Dance
Entrancement
Fairy Revels
Fanfare des Dragons (Arrangement)
Fun and Frolic (Arrangement)
Galop de Concert (Arrangement)
Gondolier, The (Arrangement)
Gondoliera (Arrangment)
Grand March
Highland Dance
Home Sweet Home (Arrangement)
Huckleberry Finn (Arrangement)
Merrie England
Satanella Dance
Silver Threads Among The Gold (Arrangement)

I don't know the quality of the pieces yet and what the catchy tunes might be. The only thing that I can promise I will do is make a new typeset (notes and tab) of all of them. And post/share the resulting files. (For me it's the easiest way to get an idea of what they're supposed to sound like and if they are worth learning)  With the list I have now should take me between 2 to 4 weeks to have it finished.
