This arrangement was requested by Jurg Pfister.

Apparently he heard the Rag played from a player piano roll !

It is  quite different from many other rags with some unusual timing and syncopation. I'd never heard of the composer so this is probably a first for banjo. The score and midi are in the library. As usual, my thanks go to Ian's ears for debugging parts of the score for me.

I just received this message from Jurg:

Hi Ian,

That's a great arrangement. Please express my thanks to Steve.
Best regards,
Jurg
I hope that others appreciate the time and effort that Steve has put into producing his arrangements for Classic Style banjo. I know how long it takes me to produce one score in notations so I can't even imagine how many hours, days weeks or months of arranging and editing he has done. Steve's new arrangements  stand at over 100 and he has made these long lost tunes, and some modern tunes, available to us all totally free in the MUSIC LIBRARY.
Thank you Steve for helping to keep Classic Banjo alive.

Thanks for your kind comments Ian,  I sometimes  think that having to use my brainpower on these arrangements is the only thing that stops me going ga ga! Since the end of November I've been officially a pensioner and I'm a strong believer in the use it or lose it philosophy! My fingers don't always behave as they used to but I still enjoy making music on both my banjo (and accordion)....Steve.
