Uh oh, my comment about changing the look of the site came 2 minutes too late. Ian, this new look is very hard to read. Too much white and glare. It seems the change of fonts is particularly troublesome.  I say " If it ain't broke don't fix it".

Yes, now it looks a lot more like a sheet of A4. ;-) Not enough contrast, I guess. Although I do like the wallpaper pattern (top and bottom), I am with Jody in that I prefer the original to this new attempt.

For  information:   I am experimenting with the new NING design software and there will be some disruption to normal service as it can only be done LIVE.

It is the intention to introduce Classic Banjo related Graphics on the borders.. but the borders need to be there first!

I like the header, but I also found the type just a little more difficult to read.   The type size on the reply page once posted looks fine but when writing it in, it is minute.    Anyway have fun with the experimenting.

Thank you Sylvia, for pointing out the email font problem. It also occurs in the Events and administration sections of the site so I need to fix it. This is another NING glitch that we have discovered in the NEW NING Site Developer software which was installed today.. Jody spotted the first and you got the second... perhaps we should award a prize!   

I have a web developer who is watching over the changes so please stick with it!  I want to make the site have a more "web" friendly look and to incorporate the up to date technology for  Facebook and Twitter integration. We need attract more users and contributors and anything I can do to achieve that I will, but not too obtrusively.  I really want to attract more new  CB players so the Beginners Section will definitely go ahead as soon as I can.
