I can't find this piece in the library here or in my collection of Cammeyer compositions, but based on this review I'd like to get hold of it:

"La Caresse is a gem full of the finest harmonies the composer ever conceived, and must be heard again and again for anyone to fully fathom its beauties." The Banjo World April-September 1922

Anyone got a copy?

Good afternoon Rob. You see I did have it all along, I just couldn't remember where I'd put it, but after breakfast (smoked bacon with mushrooms on toast) and the rain hammering against the windows, I determined to find the missing link, and here it is. I find that having found 'La Caresse' that I am missing 'In Honeyland' which is another one from Cam's 'melting harmonies' period, I haven't the strength left today to seek it out, so f anyone else has it please post it on here and put me out of my misery.

Many thanks, Richard. I’ll download that later, and give it careful scrutiny. Appreciated!

Richard, I have a single page of the banjo part which I tried uploading here but the staff and notes are so enormous it's ridiculous. I also have 3 pages of banjo with piano. Let me know please if you want that as well.  I can email the jpeg or jpegs of the score to Ian who can make it fit. That's probably the best plan so that the score becomes available to all.

All pages of In Honeyland have been sent to The Really Nice Man for resizing and adding to the library here. All pages should appear in the library soon.

Thanks, Jody. Looking forward to that one too.

Thank you Jody, It's some time since I dithered with the zither banjo but it would be good to see and play 'In Honeyland' once more. I played some duets with Dougie Rogers at the Reading Banjo Festival which at the time was held in a university near Bath, some years ago, we played 'Don't Sigh Don't Cry', 'The Dustman's Picnic', 'An Irish Fantasy', 'Marche en Passant', and few more, amongst which was probably 'Danse Bizarre' (one of my personal favourites). The difficulty with the Cammeyer duets is finding somebody who is willing to devote the necessary time to perfecting these duets bearing in mind that they are true duets and not  melodies with banjo accompaniment, of a lot of Cam's best compositions require much dedication from the performers.

All 4 pages are now in the Music Library. Now I'm intrigued. I'll have to give this waltz a go myself and see what previously unimagined (by me) chords with very long multi-fret stretches  Cammeyer has come up with this time.

Thanks Jodie, you won't be disappointed.

Ian, you have placed my draft of La Caresse in the Library. Could you please replace it with Richard's very clear original three-page score?

Thanks for uploading In Honeyland!

DONE

Enjoy!

Thanks Richard
