This is the second of three grand marches written/published by ETP  that I've arranged and is a real corker. It cracks along at a fair old pace but it's not too challenging and does work well if played at a slightly slower tempo. The piano score was set in Eb/Ab and I've arranged it for banjo in G/C to get it all to fit and I've arranged a nice bass solo in the third part. The best is yet to come! The score and midi are in the library....Steve.

One of your better arrangements, for sure. Well done!

This is a very programmatic piece and the original names each section by what's going on in the race. There's a fun youtube video of a young lady playing this at home and someone else is reading and holding up the programmatic notes written out on sheets of paper...slower speed and very "live" (meaning, mistakes are included) but fun!
