Many thanks for that..The reason I wanted to know is that a few days ago I went to see Paddy O'Dooley of Hibernian Violins in Malvern. He is a fine craftsman who makes and restores violins and I had a small job for him to do on one of my banjos. On seeing my banjo he exclaimed "I've always wanted to make one of those!" A discussion followed and he agreed to have a look at my Weaver to measure the feasibility of making a copy. If paddy is able to make the neck and hoop and the rest of the wooden parts, I should be able to do the mechanical bits and assembly. It's only in the discussion stage at present and may not yet happen but I am hopeful. I'm going to see him again later in the week so I'll see what ensues.
