what's up with this windsor Z-B? All these holes on the headstock and in the rim? Did it use to have some decoration on the headstock? Are those holes in the rim from the factory or did someone try to improve the sound?
It looks like the headstock holes were for rhinestones or some other shiny bling. The holes in the rim seem to be for something else. Screws held something in place? Maybe it was someone's idea for changing the sound?
There are only 6 tuning pegs. Maybe the double slots in the nut are simply because someone lost the original nut and put in a mandolin nut or banjo-mandolin nut. Or maybe the larger holes on the peghead were for single friction pegs? The holes don't seem to go all the way through to the back of the peghead.

9 string zither banjo. Unless there's two tunnels under the fret board, that would make it a 10 string :-)
It really is a pity. I would have been interested, without all the wholes. Might still be, depending on the price....
