How much is everyone kicking in? I pledged up to $50, but if everyone's coming in at $30, maybe I can "redirect" some funds to the Minstrel site, if they still need it. BTW, I hear they're opting for the $200 level -- what's the difference, do we know? Not that I think Classic should do the same -- I think maintaining the same level of functionality is important. I'm just wondering why they went that route. (I could post the question there, too, but there's a lot of crossover, so I figure someone here would know . . .

I also gave $20, and will give more if needed ... It didn't seem to me that we had enough to get the $500/yr plan, but the pledges were there to hit the $200 (and then some).

I wasn't surprised to see the Minstrel site go for the lower level. Tim seems to be the only one regularly producing videos, etc. We seem to have more willing producers (though not many) here.

The widget/doo-dad in the lower left hand corner of the main page of this site indicates that No funds have been received. Those of us who have contributed and received confirmation from paypal and/or Chipin know that funds *have* been received, at least by some entity. How does one interpret the non-responsiveness of the widget-ap-doodad-thingy?

Hi Jody, it looks as though the widget thing may not be working properley. I have had confirmation from Pay Pal and Chip in but in actual fact no money has been taken from my bank account, so no one has received any money from me yet. My donation has been taken on Minstrel only in the last few hours but I donated that on the 7th July. I have just been sitting tight. I'm sure someone will explain to us what is happening even as I type this.

I have just checked my Paypal account and, like Jody, I have had notification that funds have been sent to Carl

BUT look at the notification from my Paypal account online showing the money as UNCLAIMED.

I think Carl as to CLAIM or accept the cash somewhere. I guess this is why the widget is not updating???

OK, I see now, I have just one more set of hoops to jump through at paypal, namely to verify all the voluminous bank account information I've already given them, and then the donated amount will appear on the "widget." It's at $280. btw.
