The topic of animals and the banjo is quite interesting, I once had a Cocker Spaniel who liked to sit with her head on my knee when I played the banjo and had a preference for certain banjo tunes - she would lick my fingers when I played 'Twinkletoes' for instance.

Then I had a black Labrador who hated tenor banjos, especially when played in the Irish style - she once ripped my tenor banjo case open, during the night and chewed the resonator.

Have any other members any anecdotes about their pets and the banjo?
