A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
I can't find this piece in the library here or in my collection of Cammeyer compositions, but based on this review I'd like to get hold of it:
"La Caresse is a gem full of the finest harmonies the composer ever conceived, and must be heard again and again for anyone to fully fathom its beauties." The Banjo World April-September 1922
Anyone got a copy?

I'm uploading La Caresse now. Having some technical difficulties as Ning won't accept Tiff files. Or rather, it makes them ENORMOUS. Coming up soon.
As JPG it's even bigger!! I mean visually. Enormous staff and notes. I've sent the 3 pages to your gmail address listed on your website. They "decided" to appear in reverse order. It's obvious which page is which.
Thanks, Jody! Do you know whose handwriting that is?
You're very welcome. Sorry, I don't know the identity of the scribe.

Hi Rob,
I have a copy of the banjo score of Valse la Caresse, from Cammeyer Music Co. I am currently uploading to the MUSIC LIBRARY. It should be available soon.
Ian, there seems to be a page or two missing from the upload. Do you only have two pages?
I'll look around but that seems to be all that I have.
Hi Rob, Did you get the music for 'La Caresse'? If not, let me know and I'll go through the pile as I should have a copy I think.
Yes, I got a hand-written copy with piano accompaniment from Jody. Hard to read, though, so I'd prefer the full printed banjo part if you can find it, Richard.
Hi Rob, I've found my copy but it looks as if it's the same hand written version as the one Jody sent sent to you. Mine is by A. Milverton whose name is familiar to me but I can't remember anything about him offhand. My copy has the banjo and piano part combined, it runs to 3 pages and is reasonably legible, some bars will need bit of concentration and perhaps a magnifying glass.

That's exactly what I have, Richard. Thanks for looking anyway. I might take the time to type it out in Musescore sometime.
