Our very own friend and banjo expert Jody Stecher is the featured subject of the August issue of the Banjo Newsletter.

It is a fine article and interview.

Every now and then they give me a reason to keep sending them money.

Thanks, Joel. It's still July for a few more hours in California, but I guess it's August in Texas! Anyway I enjoyed the interview process, and as you know I talk some about my interest in classic banjo as well as a bunch of other things. Joe Morley is in there and the BMG is mentioned as well. Roy Andrade asked good questions I think. Editor Donald Nitchie was very gracious to print such a long interview and I hope others will also find it interesting. You are the first to comment. Glad you liked it.
How cool is that? Now I guess I need to find a copy...my subscription ran out in the 1980's. ;-)
I am sure that Jody will be a great ambassador for Classic Style.

I would like to see the article too, if someone can post it??

Marc, perhaps you can renew your membership then send me a copy?
:)

Ian
Jody kindly sent me the article and I recommend that everyone reads it.

One comment that has stuck in my mind is "Play like a singer". A simple and obvious , but isn't the best advice the obvious that you haven't seen?!!

Thank you Jody.
Now you've done it. I never thought of that either.
Also dependant on the kindness of Jody, I just finished reading the article. Well done (and I'm including Roy, Don and Jody in that kudo)!

Gee...do we now have to refer to him as "The august Mr. Stecher?" ;-)
