Sheaff arranged "Gavotte", G. F. Handel Title?

Okay experts, what was the orignial number/title or work of this?

I'm very curious this one too. I tried to find the original work for this a few weeks ago and came up with nothing. I wonder if it's not by Handel? There's a Tarrega guitar arrangement of an alleged chorale by Handel that also has never been identified and is probably not Handel.

I keyed it into Musescore and then played it (using the piano sounds) for Google (which is really good at music ID...but I think maybe short on Classical).

No hits at all.

There are several G.F. Handel "gavottes" but none I found were this one. It may be a section from a larger Handel work that Sheaff simply extracted and called it a Gavotte.

I'm working on the Sheaff arrangement of a Bach gavotte right now. I'll see if Google can ID that one when I'm finished with it.

And...

Google easily ID'd the Bach as the "Gavotte en Rondo from the Violin Partita No. 3, in Emaj, BWV 1006". It has a section cut out, probably so it would fit on a single page.

I mean, really, how difficult would it have been to just include the Op # or title?

I guess it could just be a lie and Sheaff either composed it, or did not know where he got it.  Would not be the first example of this.
