In my recent blog post I blogged about feeling my way around the Classic Banjo site. The site has so much to offer that I'm taking my time to investigate each section. I was wondering

*if other members utilize all or just parts of the site - posting photos, videos, comments, adding blog posts, using the library or tutorials, seeking events, viewing pictures

*how many members out of over 400 drop in regularly and are interested in all the posting or just one particular aspect

*of those members how many leave a comment or a post

*how many are just 'lurking' and don't want to put themselves out there

Here's the challenge - if you read this post, please will you leave a comment, even if you have never done so before, just so we can all see 'who we are talking to' or 'who is interested and what they are interested in'.

I notice that there are 4 other people on line - would you start the ball rolling by adding your comments? Thanks to all.

One of the beauties of a shared interest website such as this is the freedom to not actively participate.

Hello!I'm here...what banjo do you play?dx

Hi Danielle, I'm a bit of a fraud really. I've only 'dabbled' at the banjo, attempting to play 2nd part to Palladium March on one of OH's (thereallyniceman's) Clifford Essex Specials. Other dabbles have been on the clarinet, guitar, keyboard and recorder but my instrument of choice is the piano, which I've played since I was a child. You will see me playing on two of OH's videos. I prefer to accompany others rather than be in the spotlight. I'm here on this site supporting - if you can't beat them, join them! I like to know what he's up to.

Something I've been meaning to ask, RNL.  what does OH stand for?

Hi Jody, OH stands for 'other half'. I could have used DH which stands for 'darling husband'. It took me a while to work out RNL!!

There's also BH too.

:) Tee hee!

Very true.

There is also SHMBO :-)

I'm brand new to this site. I've already used profile and pixs. Brought up Herbert Ellis' sheet music to use for a rally and responded to your post. I'm having fun. Thanks.

Hi Pat and welcome. Keep exploring, there's lots here and more to come. Join in the fun! We're all different and have different ideas and help to offer. If you don't find what you want, just ask. I'm sure someone here will have and answer for you.
