Is there anybody there?

In my recent blog post I blogged about feeling my way around the Classic Banjo site. The site has so much to offer that I'm taking my time to investigate each section. I was wondering

*if other members utilize all or just parts of the site - posting photos, videos, comments, adding blog posts, using the library or tutorials, seeking events, viewing pictures

*how many members out of over 400 drop in regularly and are interested in all the posting or just one particular aspect

*of those members how many leave a comment or a post

*how many are just 'lurking' and don't want to put themselves out there

Here's the challenge - if you read this post, please will you leave a comment, even if you have never done so before, just so we can all see 'who we are talking to' or 'who is interested and what they are interested in'.

I notice that there are 4 other people on line - would you start the ball rolling by adding your comments? Thanks to all.

Hi Sylvia - way hay that's 2 people! I'll know you are there tomorrow, then. How's the practice going? Are we going to get another video? I'm thinking of recording an accompaniment to Sunflower Dance. What do you think?

very nice lady ,i visit every day  and practice banjo and listen to all the videos . i really cant get enough

Hi Really Nice Lady, that's a good idea  recording an accompaniment to Sunflower Dance. I do have one new piece of music that might be ok but the recorder on my lap top isn't that good and until I can suss out my new recorder I'm a bit stuck. But will do another video sometime.

I'm usually peeking in a good bit during the week (from work, don't tell my boss!). On the weekends, it depends. I just popped in for a moment right now. Gone again in a few minutes...

I use most of the site... I used to post blog posts but I prefer discussions now. I drop in as often as I can (more than once a day) and try to comment as often as possible... keeping the site active is a good way to get the "lurkers" to stop lurking! ;-)

Hi Mike, thank you for replying. What you say is very true. So far you are only the sixth person to comment on this post. Other people have been on the site I know but I also know that there are some people who have yet to 'dip their toes into the pond'. It would be great if these others would post or comment when they are here, just to show that they are around. As can be seen from my posts they don't have to be very profound, technical or innovative, just friendly.
