Digging thru a big box of printouts (where I found Morley's "Pastime Schottische"), I ran across 10 more pieces I couldn't find online or in my digital collection. I've scanned them and sent them to Ian for inclusion in the Music Library here...and to Joel to add to the Internet Archive. They're almost all A Notation, only an O. Oakley arrangement of "The Royal Trumpeters" is in C.

Ok! Ian has uploaded "The Royal Trumpeters" to the Music Library here.
I had forgotten (or failed to listen up in class) that Ian doesn't do A notation in the Music Library. Fortunately, I sent copies to Joel and he has them up on The Internet Archive. Simply search the titles there. Easy PDF download.
I think I'll convert "Zulu Dance" to C notation. If you see something that looks interesting and you need C Notation, just let me know and I'll get it on the list for conversion.
With a title like Zulu Dance I sort of expected something different. This piece is not bad, and slightly better than the typical mid 90s basic tweedledee schottische, just not what I would have expected based on the title.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of most schottisches, so I am biased.
Yes, you might expect something a bit more exotic, but I think Odell probably just grabbed a catchy, alliterative word out of the newspapers and hoped it might sell a few sheets.
The sheet music has issues, naturally. I suppose any decent music reader could suss out all those unmarked triplets. I think the Trio ought to have had a repeat before the minor interlude and then perhaps A-B-A (Intro.-A-A-B-B-A-Trio-Trio-interlude-A-B-A) or something like that. I've left all that per the original.
I've transposed it to C notation, Tab and mp3. I'll send it in to Ian for the Music Library. In the meantime, here's the mp3.
