Astonishing playing, it makes me wonder how he managed to get so many tunes under his belt week after week, mostly played with precision and always a lot of attack (when required, as in this tune) Ossman was phenomenal.
Ossman was naturally very talented, a hard worker and very ambitious. As a twelve year old beginner, he surpassed his original teacher within a short period. In his teens he practiced many hours a day and performed locally at every opportunity. That seems to have set the pattern for much of his life.
On several occasions, I've searched on-line for a digital copy of the score to "Whoa, Bill" -piano score is fine - without success. If anyone has a score they are willing to share, would love to receive a copy.
I think that this is it:- https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=...

The ABF might have a manuscript arrangement by Kennith.
Richard - many thanks for that ! The score is composed by Von Tilzer, so must be the correct piece. The arrangement is for vocal with piano accompaniment. If lucky, the piano right hand will still carry the full melody -which is quite helpful when transcribing an Ossman recording. I'll try and find time for that in coming days.
Joel - thanks! Good to know there may be an arrangement available as a backup plan.
