Turners bought the remaining timber (lumber) and unfinished instruments from Alfred Weaver on his retirement in 1938. They issued a small catalogue of their 'Weaver' banjos and continued to manufacture banjos which were identical to the Weaver models into the 1950s. I've had a few of these over the years and Alan Middleton had a wood hoop model for many years. Joel Hooks said:

JAT was kinda obvious about it, in a catalog I have photos of they have “Weaver Model” listed.
