Still playing a 5-string, but is there a plectrum in his left hand, I wonder? You'd need one with that rabble.
His left hand is occupied making a chord on the fingerboard. His right hand could well be holding a plectrum.

I go dyslexic at least once a week.
I wonder if Grimshaw even used an open back banjo with this band. I would think a tone ring and resonator would help out a lot.
