This is my take on a very melodious and playable early tune by Holzmann. I've kept the arrangement as straightforward as possible and the final result suits the banjo very well. I haven't yet come across any banjo recordings, maybe someone has some info? The score and midi are in the library...Steve.

This frontpage is strange! ive seen an original (facsimile) : it's exactly the same but the kids are placed differently. But anyway, very good job for transcribing this one Steve! I share here a medley of tunes that u surely already transcribed for banjo, but.. here's for the guitar (and sorry for sharing here on ur page, but it's in order to not make a new topic for this, so i understand if you prefer no "vid/answer") A few mistakes in playing, but i m happy to not have cut it totaly while playing (as i m used to do).

Hi Remi, very impressive guitar playing indeed. You played A Coon Band Contest on your video, have a look and listen to the similarly named Coon Band Parade (1906)  by James Reece Europe, I arranged it for banjo some time ago and is in the library. I reckon it would sound good on guitar......Steve.
