This sling is an ergonomic disaster.  It's like a feedbag!  The neck takes the pressure instead of the shoulders. The big surprise in this photo is that Joe Morley is playing a CE Regal model. That model has a unique sound, and not a sound I associate with Morley. Also the Regal is *heavy*.  I feel sorry for Joe's neck.

Actually, my association with Clifford Essex Regal may be about to expire. I've decided to sell some banjos and the Regal is one of them. I'll give details in a separate message.

Is Eric still about? I remember meeting up with at Ridgeway....maybe 15 years ago - nice bloke.

Richard has one of these slings, I'm sure there is leather worker out there who could knock some up for us...be a bit more than two bob.
