Curly Miller and Carole Anne Rose of The Old 78s shared this piece with me over the summer. I love it!

In "My Files" you should have a list of files; when you hover the mouse over the files, you should see three icons on the right: "Open actions menu", "Download" and "Share". Click on the "share" button and you'll get a link which you can copy and paste so others can download your file.

Here's a screenshot from my account:

You can also simply attach files to a blog post. Just create a new blog post and hit the little paperclip icon. That will pop up a menu which will let you upload files to your blog post. No need to have a link, no need for a special extra program.

However, if you want it in a regular forum thread, you'll need the link as Mike has posted above.

Gee, Ian, it sure would be nice if we could "attach" files to forum posts just like the blog posts. ;-)

And...yes, I would like to have any dots I can get. Cello would be great!

Greg? Can we get copies of the dots you got from Curly & Carole Ann?

The right hand on the piano+voice score looks pretty playable if you transpose it three steps up.

Greg, could you please me the dots or TEF?

Thank you, everyone for your positive feedback. If anyone is ever in the DC area and wants to get together to play some tunes, please look me up for a get-together!

Hal, my arrangement is based on the piano sheet music that Curly and Carole Anne gave me. I've made some modifications. I'll try to get something together for you ASAP.

Thanks, Gregg. I am assuming Curly did more than just dropped some passages by an octave. That is why I wanted to see the music. Curly's and your version looks so much easier to play than the original sheet music.

I have looked into this Marc and unfortunately NING does not support file uploads from "Comment" boxes. (I think it should too!)  The original poster of the Forum Discussion post does have the option to "ADD files". All I can suggest is either to link to files hosted free elsewhere, as Mike suggests or to start a new discussion with a title relating to the original and then upload the files to that. This is a messy solution though and I will see if there is a better way. Ning also have a limit of THREE uploads and a max file size of 5Meg too.  We pay a fortune for the service and it is a shame they expect us to pay even more to buy the PRO service to allow extra facilities. This is why I set up a second hosting server , both to save money and to hold the files for  features like the LIBRARY, JUKEBOX PLAYER etc.

No worries, Ian. You're doing a stellar job and I've no real complaints. My unreal complaints are sent to Dog...let him/her sort them out. ;-)
