Curly Miller and Carole Anne Rose of The Old 78s shared this piece with me over the summer. I love it!

Amazing performance, Greg, you've got some serious chops!
Hi Greg, Good to see you back on here with another superb performance.
Someone once posted a comment that I must be spending too much time in the woodshed. I think that you must be spending too much time in the kitchen ;-)
The tone you get from that banjo just gets better and better.
I tried Temptation Rag some time ago after I saw the Old 78's playing it, but it was far to tricky for me.
6******s from me !!! I love it too!
Is the music/arrangement available?
Sure! I don't know which arrangement he's playing, here's the arrangement by William Talley hosted on his site: http://wtalley.tripod.com/pdfs/temprag.pdf
Here's an older arrangement by George E. Morris
Everyone is very fast... You beat me to it!
Thank you all, and I have now added the sheet music to download from the MUSIC LIBRARY.
Bravo and ......... bienvenue to the club ( Banjo players in the kitchen )
Awesome, Greg!
Any idea what you want to play at Swannee yet? I will be bringing the CB...
I, too, like Gregg's arrangement and technique. This version is different than Bill Talley's and Henry Lodge's versions. Their versions were more up the neck and, I think, more difficult to perform. I would like to get a copy of Curley's arrangement as I gave up trying to play Talley's and Lodge's. I have a pdf of the words to this song but don't know how to upload it to this thread. (Is it possible?) It is in a different key but I have always thought it was a shame nobody ever sings the words to these great songs. I also have a cello banjo part I would like to share. Can anyone advise?
Hi Hal, have you got a Mediafire account? You can upload your files there for free and post the links on this thread.
OK, I now have a Mediafire account and have uploaded the pdf files to it. Now how do I get them to this page?
