A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
Becky and I haven't played together in ages, owing to serious hand problems on my part, so this is posted for fun, unrehearsed, camera jitters and all.
Completely awesome! Well done!!
Brilliant, simply brilliant!
Thank you from Joe Morley and thank you to our friends 3000 miles away! That was a delight to watch.
Sean and Becky, you have motivated me to actually "get my finger out" and do a video... soon :-)
I hope that there will be more from the "Dynamic Duo" soon too!
Hi Ian.
Thanks for those very kind words. We did video a few more selections. Camera jitters remained a problem, but if you like, I'll post them over the next few days.
Oooh!, I really enjoyed that. There are few things I like more than a well played banjo, but one of them is TWO well played banjos. There's more? yes please. Most of us here also get camera jitters. I deal with it by posting to youtube via the limited viewing option. That limits viewers to those who come upon the video via this website and that means an audience of like-minded banjo students who will readily forgive jitter-generated flubs. It doesn't cure camera jitters but it eases them considerably.
Hi Jody
Glad you enjoyed, and thanks for the tip on limited view posting. I'll try it.
Thumbs up from me! Yes, please post the rest.
I am envious of your shading. I tend to always play as if I'm cutting a cylinder in a cold room.
There are 3 youtube options: public, unlisted, and private. "Unlisted" is the one I've been using.
Yes brilliant ; bravo ; and what a beautiful piece by JM !
Wonderful, great to see you back playing such great music!
