Very good performance Marc..  That is a really difficult solo to play. The highly syncopated TRIO, I find especially difficult.

I spotted this blurry 78RPM record by Bert Bassett, perhaps it explains why he named this composition "Jumbo Rag".. we all expected to hear a herd of elephants charging through the piece.

;-)

The score  is already in our MUSIC LIBRARY, for those brave enough to try it.

Thanks Marc.

Thanks  everybody ; yes , the tune must be classified " difficult " because  of the lonely trio .  i have recorded the banjo solo because it 's impossible to play the trio with the same tempo ; ; don 't know why ; not only because it ' s difficult  to play  full speed but because the tempo must be  downbeated for the trio to sound good ; i found the way how to do on my  music ' software and il will record the tune like that

Pictures of elephants and circus rings spring to mind plus a tune I remember from earlier years. I was humming along. Well done. Is there a humming bird rag or a bumble bee rag? I'm looking forward to listening to the banjo + piano version.
