A catchy "ear worm" composition by Joe Morley. Great fun, and played "Classic Fingers Style" on a five string Alfred Weaver Banjo using nylon strings and fit...

DANGER “EAR WORM” TUNE ALERT !!!!!!!

Sorry, but I just had to post a tune… So many videos have been posted recently that I just had to join in with the Feztivities.

….  I must confez that I have not been spending enough time practising recently and you will be able to tell that by watching the video, as I occasionally play the notes as written on the score!  :-)

Freckles is a great and catchy composition by Joe Morley that you will find yourself, your friends and family, and the neighbours humming and whistling it… beware ;-)

The score is available in the MUSIC LIBRARY for site members to download, and here is a link to slow and fast MIDI piano tracks to play along with if you fancy trying the piece out.

I am playing my 11” Weaver banjo and what superb banjos they are!

One of my favourite Joe Morley tunes, a bit fast for a pensioner like me.

Nicely done. Indeed a fun, catchy tune, which I've also enjoyed playing for the past few years. I liked your improvisations in the latter half. Tapis de Souq would be proud.

Freckles is a great tune which is easy to learn but hard to master -- you really managed to bring out the brilliant syncopations that make it such an outstanding solo. It's great to see you also decided to wear some Feztive attire. Perhaps a new arrangement of The Sheik of Araby is in order?
