A fun maritime medley by Joe Morley which includes "Rule Britannia" and "Sailor's Hornpipe" along with several original naval-flavoured tunes by Morley.
I had a bit of a critical failure towards the end, and also later on I noticed there was some interference from my mobile phone. Oh well. I had enough trouble managing to play this one at "Morley Speed" (120BPM) to record it again, so here it is warts and all.

Hey Mike,.. is that you Mike?... Mike where are you?

;-)

Another goodie, thank you. It was great to hear Vodaphone playing a brief, but delightful, second part too.

We were all there dancing along, in fact me and Marc Smith are still dancing. Isn't it amazing how slimming images on the web are  are ?

Simply awesome, Mike. Say, I could probably play that one...as I spent a great number of hours working my way thru "Sailor's Hornpipe" back in the '80s when "Melodic Banjo" was all the rage. Nobody then knew it had been done ages before. Take that, Bill Keith! ;-)

Slimming indeed, Ian. I should be so lucky as to look like that.

Yes , brilliant , Mike ; and  pretty tune ; the 80 ' s exactly  & all the rage in France , too ; every bluegrass bj player was playing this ( Bill Keith was very often in France in these periods )
