In C minor: Zarana, El Contrabandista, Yeoman's Call, Kansas Jig

In C major: Mississippi Bubble, St Louis Tickle, Rag Pickings,  The Tantalizer,  The Smiler, Cupid's Arrow

In G major: Sweet Jasmine, Pensacola, A Banjo Revel

In F: Dancer's Dream, Calliope Rag

In E flat : Grace & Beauty

In A flat: Ragtime Oriole

That's a few anyway. Just what came to mind this morning.

As of late, my favourite is probably "Carry On" by A. Kirby... not all that difficult but an extremely effective solo, especially with the walking bass part in the first part.

Mine seem to change daily. I'm working on "Fun On The Wabash" at the moment...as well as "Gypsy Love" and "Whipped Cream Rag". "Whipped Cream" will be my own arrangement from the piano score as I could not dig up a banjo arrangement.

However, the ABF rally is coming up in a few weeks so I'm really working hardest on my solos and the 2nd banjo parts to the Orchestra numbers.

Thanks for the recommendations so far. Some great pieces have been suggested. It appears that Jody likes everything. There are some I have not heard there too !! ... I must admit that I really like your selections Jody.

Marc S,  Whipped Cream Rag...superb. superb!  I have posted my score. Excuse the scribbles and alterations, but I couldn't play it the way it was shown to be fingered. That is one for the shortlist, along with Smiler Rag...  and all the others :-)

Please keep the suggestions coming!

This is what Iwas playing prior to my health problems last year.

L'Infanta, Maple Leaf Rag,Alhambra March, The Ragtime Dance, Twinkletoes, Olympian March, Liberty Bell, Marche Glenside, Marche Impromptu, Palladium Rag, Minuet (Morley) Weeping Willow, Sports Parade, A Bunch of Rags, Tender Glances, Senegambian Revels, Moonlight Revels, Smiler Rag, Indian Summer, The Gunner's March. All good stuff.

You could have a look at Hunter's Gypsy Dance and Zingara, and any of Frank Lawes' solos, Jumbo Rag is good, two Oakley pieces which nobody plays,Winifred Mazurka and Pastorale, Grimshaw's Dream Song, Hiawatha. If you are feeling like a few Gb13 b9ths try Cammeyer's Danse Bizarre or the Cornish Dance No.2. or Sheaff's Mazurka.
