Hello UK Friends!

This is the first of I-hope-not-too-many posts about my upcoming visit to the UK in the spring. I'm getting ready to announce my tour dates soon and I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to join my mailing list, which is how I share my news. If you would like to receive my newsletters simply send me an email or a message on here and include your email address. Mine is aaronjonahlewis at gmail dot com -- If you would rather not get emails from me you can still check my website aaronjonahlewis.com for updates.

I'm also looking for any suggestions or recommendations or advice regarding venues to play. I have many dates booked and I still have many dates to fill. I'm open to any kind of venue. And if you don't know of any venues but you'd like to meet and maybe show me around, let me know, as I intend to have some days off and would love to meet as many of you find banjo pals as possible.

Hey Aaron

Might be worth letting the folks here know: https://www.facebook.com/groups/foaotmad

I hope you come to lovely Norwich - I recently saw Alison de Groot and Tatiana Hargreaves here (the gig was organised by Corncutter Promotions).  In nearby Cambridge, there is the popular Cambridge Junction.  In London, Cecil Sharp House and Walthamstow folk club.

In Liverpool there is The Caledonia pub which puts on lots of great music http://www.thecaledonialiverpool.com/ - and The Liverpool Philhamonic Hall puts on small gigs (folk/acoustic acts) in the Music Room as does The Atkinson (studio) in nearby Southport.

Best,

Carrie

Thanks so much Carrie! I will follow up on all of these suggestions and you will be among the first to hear when the tour dates are confirmed. I hope to see you in a few months!

Oh man. If you're anyway here in Europe, why not make a short stop in Germany!? I'm sure I could organize a couple of concerts around the Harz mountains...  and it's a perfect spot for a vacation! :-)

Well, I can alsways dream...

I was hoping to come visit Germay during this trip! I have friends I want to visit in Berlin, and I would love to play a concert (or concerts) around the Harz, that is such a beautiful area. The dates I'm potentially available to come to Germany are 14-21 May. I should be in London on the 13th and I have to be in Northern Ireland for 22 May. Send me an email if you have some ideas! It's aaronjonahlewis at gmail dot com

Ha! I didn't expect you to jump on that. That would be great.

I did send you an e-mail. My mails have a tendency to end up in the junk mail of the receiver, so look there if it didn't arrive.

Do you have anything booked in Manchester?
