Prosperity Rag James Scott and Steve

The latest of Steve's arrangements for classic style banjo is James Scott's Prosperity Rag

Steve says that there are only 9 James Scott rags left to arrange!

This is quite an achievement Steve as many of these rags are superb and fit perfectly for banjo.

I believe that this one was a bit of a challenge to transpose from Db (5 flats) to C while trying to work out the correct chords, having to omit the top harmony note in some of the bars as it would have been impossible to play but keeping the harmony an 8ve lower!  (If that makes sense)

These arrangements are not easy, five minute jobs so thank you for all the work that you put in!

Grace and Beauty and A Ragtime Oriole have already been done, that leaves 5 more yet to be arranged. These are probably the most challenging to do but I'm determined to complete the set. I may then revisit the other two and give my take on them.....Steve.
