Here's another obscure rag by one of the female composers of ragtime.

It's a slow drag, much in the manner of College Rag by W.Hunter. From what I've gleaned from Google, a Hoosier is a native of Indiana though the origins of the name are a bit obscure. I'm sure one of out American members can shed more light on this.

This is a good slow rag and I've maximized the use of the banjo's 'second voice' to give the arrangement more substance. The score and midi are in the library.....Steve.

Thanks Marc, I'll have to look around for a few more of these slow rags, they demonstrate that you don't have to play at 100 mph to make good banjo music.....Steve.
