OMG. I saw this on BHO and now I want one for next year's October ABF Rally...

I'd have to change out the guitar tuners (which I dislike on banjos) but I've rigged at least two Goodtime banjos for Classic play. They do a fine job with nylon strings.

I showed it to Miz Diane...she thinks it is the coolest banjo out there.

Since they are made on order, why not have one made with zero angle, small frets and champion pegs?

I've BTDT. Modern makers are unwilling to re-fixture for neck angle. The pegs are easy, regular planetary pegs would be fine...I have several sets. Standard banjo frets are also OK by me. I don't have a need to re-create the 19th. C, 1:1. Even the neck angle isn’t off putting.

I would install a clever tailpiece. Maybe something like a talon...but with fierce talons...or a monkeys paw, skeletal hand, etc.
