A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
HJL was a popular and prolific composer whose compositions date from 1900 until 1936. This is the 10th Lincoln tune that I've arranged and the 6th of his marches. It's a corker of a tune and is well worth a look and listen. It would probably have worked better written as a duet using a banjo second however, by using plenty of second voice on the score and bass solos, I've plugged the gaps that would have been played by a second and overall it works very well. The score and midi are in the library.

Hey Steve, this is a cracker! A proper Classic Banjo March with loads of oomph!
A must for everyone to try. It could have been written for the banjo.
Here is the audio.. See if you can listen without tapping your feet :-)
As Steve said the score is available FREE in the MUSIC LIBRARY.
& this one i used to arrange 4 years ago from a piano ' roll
Thanks Ian, Lincoln's other marches come pretty close to this one for playability, Bo Peep march in particular is worth a listen...Steve.
