A Site Dedicated to all enthusiasts of Classic Style Banjo
Hi all,
These days I´ve exploring a YouTube playlist (a really fun one) with a lot of classic reprertoire, and I listened to a piece from Cammeyer called "3 miniatures". Since I did not found it on the library I want to know if someone have it.
Cheers!

I don't have sheet music for a single piece entitled "3 Miniatures" or "Three Miniatures". Cammeyer wrote a lot of waltzes; perhaps this is someone's medley of three of them. The information on the youtube video is a bit confusing. It attributes the waltzes to both Cammeyer and Grimshaw. And the arrangement for "modern banjo" (whatever that is) is attributed to a name that is too blurry for me to read except to perceive that it looks French.
Thanks Jody. Yeah, I also found it kind of confusing and obscure. It´s a shame because I really liked the interpretation of the first section and got curious... He had a couple of videos but they are equally scarce in information...
I have them. I'll see if I can post them this evening.
That would be Jean-Marc Andres, Jody. He put out a couple of Classic-Banjo CDs some years ago. I wish he would do more!
I've always liked Jean-Marc's arrangements. The Miniatures have a lovely setting and the violin just floats over the whole. Very nice, I'd forgotten these were out there.
Thanks Joel! It will take some time but I´ll try to record the first one

He made a lovely arrangement! Some pieces of classic style blend really well with the violin or some wind instruments (clarinet or flute for instance)
