'Turner's Banjo Solos' n°s 1-3 were published in 1887 and n° 7 in 1888.

The majority of the unattributed tunes were composed by Harry Spratt; they were published in his own series of 'Banjo Melodist' between 1872 and 1887.

Thanks! Parke Hunter was born in 1876 so he was 12 when #7 was published.  This suggests he composed Fun On The Wabash in an old familiar style.
