The eBay shop for Clifford Essex is run by the son of the late Clem Vickery, who is also called Clem. We exchanged a few words, and he said he is not just selling off remainder stock but is getting new stock made. He also has plans to reboot the website, and intends to also sell banjos. Watch that space.

Brilliant news!

Good news! I bought some music from them years ago when I was trying plectrum tuning on a baritone ukulele. I went to look for their website last week and was sad to see it down.

Shortly before Clem's passing I bought one of the reissues of the "Regal Arm Rest".  After getting it and fitting it on my Professional I wanted another.  Then Clem passed.

I reached out in November of last year to his son about them and he said he would look to see if he could find them.  After a little back and forth, I sent him a photo of it.  I guess they have not turned up yet.

They are good armrests.

That's good to hear.
