You thought that the last posts contained some rare stuff??  Well this one beats the lot.

Here we have Fred Van Eps playing “Pierrette” composed by C. Chaminade, but I have also made available the original hand written banjo score that also includes the piano arrangement as played by Van Eps’ son Robert.

They don’t come much rarer than this, and as for Van Eps’ playing… well what do you expect?

The second recording is of “Indian Summer” by Neil Moret. (Neil Moret was a pseudonym used by American composer Charles N. Daniels (April 12, 1878 – January 23, 1943).

This time a transcription of the score, made by Richard Ineson, has been included. This score has been added to the MUSIC LIBRARY for free download.
