I have not until now added Grimshaw scores to the MUSIC LIBRARY but today have finished editing and uploading a large number of his compositions and arrangements.

Ian, I really like the Grimshaw´s exercises...well the four I am able to play, ha!, but I will give a try to some of the Grimshaw´s pieces in the future. I would like to learn the Chopin´nocturne which Grimshaw made an arrangement. I heard to Rob sometime ago and I liked it. Do you have it?.

Hi German,

I think that you will find Grimshaw's arrangement of Chopin's  "Nocturne" on the Clifford Essex Music website:

http://www.cliffordessex.net/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=910

They do a great job with these scores so please consider buying it online. Their prices are good too!

Yes! I know that it is for Plectrum, but Grimshaw's arrangements usually were suitable to play both fingerstyle and plectrum.

Thanks Ian! I will purchase it and give it a try.

Wow!  What a resource this is.  I'm just starting on banjo, but I've been playing ToC guitar and mandolin for about 15 years now.  and I wish there were a similar resource for guitarists interested in this repertoire.  Thanks again, Ian.  I WILL use it!  -Chris.

Chop Suey, The Banshee and Banjo Blues are my top three :o)

Which are your favourites?

Right now, Rose Leaves gavotte, Calliope rag, Russian rag :)

White smoke on this discussion ;  i choosed a tune & add it in the video ' section ; Vive émile Grimshaw
