As some of our more observant members and visitors may have noticed, we have recently been experimenting with ways of promoting Classic-Banjo to a wider audience. We're doing this in several steps, one of which is to use Facebook to communicate with visitors who don't frequent the Ning site as often as others.

If you have a Facebook account and haven't done so already, we encourage you to click our "like" button so that you can keep up with latest news, pictures, videos & scores that are posted to the site. It's an easy and convenient way to keep track of what is going on.

Interested? Here's the button:

If you are already a follower of our Facebook page and enjoy one of our posts, it would be great if you could share that post with any Banjo friends by clicking on the "Share" link next to the post in Facebook. This helps us attract new members who may not have discovered classic-banjo.ning.com yet.

If you have any Classic-Banjo content that you would like to share yourself, feel free to post it to our Facebook wall.

Hi Ian, I think you should have had one of the guys photos up there. I bet loads of them are on Facebook. They have probably seen my photo and thought " OMG" if she's there I'm not going to make any comment.

 I dare bet you I'm right  :)

Hey Sylvia, We would all love to see your photo, but this clever website knows if you are logged in to your Facebook account and puts your own avatar in the discussion post. When I log on I get a picture of some old fat bloke...  oh wait a minute , where's my glasses...  OH! it's me ;-)

Ian

Hi Ian, I forgot my Facebook pic. was different to the Classic pic.  :)  anyway keep the videos coming, I do keep sharing them as some of my Facebook Pals are into music, some folkie and some classic.
