Alan Middleton 1927-2023

Looks like Alan passed yesterday.

I am a big fan from afar. At some point in my classic banjo journey I stumbled across a download of his "One Pair of Hands".  It was not until recently that I tracked down a copy of his folio "Solos for a Quieter Mood" which I have been going to fairly regular for nice evening enjoyment.

Such a great loss. Alan has been around the banjo scene for as long as I can remember. I am sure that all our condolences go to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear about Alan Middleton.   I lost my wife after 68 years of marriage. so I know how his family is feeling.  Regards Ray
