Jeez, I really love your playing and your two videos — unpretentiously performed, quietly moving and calming; every note counts, and the varieties of tone color and emotion are unusual for our much-maligned instrument. In other words, musical! The mellow woody tone seems especially suited to this particular piece, as well. Fine work, all around!

Thank you so much! I like the Cammeyer note, by the way. I read the book, but his tic of avoiding the pronoun "I" wore me down after a while. Still, it's an interesting read.

I had the same reaction reading that book. Or in his style :" Had the same reaction....".   It bothered me too. It's ok  in a diary. But in an autobiography, meant for others to read, by midway through reading the subject of the book being absent from the sentences started to wear me down, just as you say.

Now, THAT's the way to play the banjo! :-)

Beautiful playing, and a wonderful tone!

Now I know what I am aiming for. Thanks!
