If you can possibly attend this rally I can strongly recommend it to ALL banjo players and banjophiles alike!

The MBF is a gathering of all styles of banjo music from the amateur to professional, with enthusiasts & players meeting up, chatting, buying, selling, relaxing & enjoying good company.

Doors open at 12 noon

The Concert, in which anyone can play, will run from mid afternoon through to early evening with a short break around 5pm. The conclusion in the evening of the ‘Free Raffle Draw’(sponsored by Clifford Essex Music Company Ltd)

The rally includes all styles of banjo playing from:

bluegrass to old time with uke-banjo playing, plectrum, tenor and of course Classic Style is strongly represented.

There is plenty of chat and you can enjoy a beer while you pick the brains of experienced and professional players.

You can both play other people’s and brand new banjos from the trade stands, or buy and sell banjos and accessories too.

Lynn and I will be there so do say hello, and buy me a pint ;-)  !!

I'm going!

ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GO!!!!!

Do try to make this rally. It really is the one for ALL banjoists, not only Classic Style players.

Watch the "pros" play. (Is that what I really mean't to say???)

Clifford Essex Music Co. will be exhibiting at the Midland Banjo Festival, so buy those tutor books and spare strings!

Also pick up a flyer for our Classic Banjo website and share it with your banjophile friends!

The car is packed and ready to go!

Look out for some "once in lifetime"; "never to be repeated" offers on CE books and solos.

Where else could you browse banjo music while having a superb cooked breakfast or severial pints of Sharpe's Doom Bar?
