This is today ' rehearsal ; Dan ( daniel Chauvet ) is the 3rd man ; he is  a lg time ' friend & a jazzman like Jeff ; usually  playing  double & electric bass & soubassophone but i  remenbered i had a CE & sons 4 strings ' cello somewhere in a case (  an early member of the French dixieland band " les haricots rouges "  sold it to me this one some  years ago ) ; To allow Dan to play it , i tuned  C / F / Bb / Eb ; up  to the regular cello ' tessiture
