I spotted this on Youtube and can only assume that the copyright holders haven’t noticed this flagrant breach.
Tarrant Bailey Jnr., his works and his performances are too good to keep hidden away so here is the man playing “Mind the Paint”… and people say that I have cast iron fingertips!
Classic Style playing at its best.
1st time for me i hear TBJ ' banjo played in French ; Excellent Ian , Thx
Cool! The ABF published this a few years back and I've wondered ever since what it sounded like.
A brilliant solo, the sound of TBj picking away in front of a full jazz band is simply amazing. Apparently he also cut a number of other records on a French label, some of which I would really like to get my hands on! (Including the only known period recording of Joe Morley's Mazeppa, apparently).
Wow , A virtuoso at work here . I am blown away .Think i will go up the garden and make a banjo bonfire .Now Ive got over the shock maybe not.
