Ray, Shawnee Mission is a suburb of Kansas City. An Indian mission was built in the 1840's near here that is still standing, and sometimes haunted by a certain local oddball banjo player.

Okay, that link is a little complicated.

Google Banjo Clubhouse.
Go to Banjo Clubhouse.
Scroll down to the Converse Analytical (it's the white one).
Click on Converse Analytical.
On the bottom of the Converse Analytical page, click on the pdf thing.
Go to page 58.
Enjoy The Riverside Schottische.

The thing is to enjoy what you are doing. Imagine pulling a lever in a factory all your life and hating every minute of it. You only get one go around, you know. You are bringing a lot of pleasure to lots of people. That's got to be worth many Brownie Points for a start.

Yes. Thank you! I have begun to chip away at it. I may have it down in a year or two.

Gone for lunch? Did we make you hungry with all the cookbook talk? Take your banjo with you! Maybe they'll give you a free lunch if you play them a pretty tune!

Ray, Ray, Ray. There can only be one Ernest Jones at a time! My youngest brother, John, is living proof of this...only one John Smith at a time! ;-)
